We’re the Women’s Interdisciplinary Society of Entrepreneurship, but you can call us WISE.
Only 5% of venture capital funding goes to women founded companies, and there are more men named James leading Fortune 500 companies than women leading Fortune 500 companies. WISE was created to change those statistics! We believe that by showcasing entrepreneurial thinking in all fields and industries, more women will be encouraged to pursue entrepreneurship. With a strong sense of community and a diverse set of programs, the WISE women are hoping to empower others who are interested in starting a company or applying an innovative mindset to whatever they pursue in the future.
WISE provides students the opportunity to explore curiosities and discover paths together. Experiential learning is at the heart of Northeastern University, and WISE builds upon its ethos. Whether you are looking to attend interactive workshops that showcase entrepreneurship in every light, find a mentor to help develop personal and professional skills, or strengthen problem solving skills through working on a semester long project, WISE has an opportunity for you!
Working with members to breakdown their imposter syndrome and help them discover their passion.
Lead as your most authentic self despite what society wants you to be like! Success looks different for everyone.
WISE was founded on inclusion for women in entrepreneurship, but our values stretch far beyond that.
WISE is here to help anyone with a passion for any industry learn more about entrepreneurship.
We are here to offer unconditional support to our members and team to help them learn and grow!
